Dr. Mulroy is a native of Boston and has benefited from the finest education and training in the world. His medical training began in California at Stanford University where he received a Bachelor of Science in pre-medical studies. He then returned to Boston to complete his Doctor of Medicine degree at Tufts University. This was followed by General Surgery training in Santa Barbara, California, and then back to Boston for Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center, the New England Baptist Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospitals. He was awarded the prestigious William H. Harris Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital for Specialty training in the reconstruction of the adult knee and hip.
In addition to a world-class, formal education, Dr. Mulroy's experience has been enriched by a family tradition of Orthopedic Surgery. His father and uncle were Orthopedic Surgeons. He has two brothers and a cousin who are also Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Mulroy had published and presented scientific papers and lectured to Orthopedic Surgeons locally, nationally, and internationally on topics of knee and hip reconstruction. He has been a team physician to both college and high school athletes as well as having treated numerous professional athletes.

Dr. Frank X. Pedlow Jr., MDOrthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Pedlow is the former Chief of the Orthopedic Spine Service at the Massachusetts General Hospital, a position he held until deciding to go into private practice. He is board-certified, fellowship-trained spine surgeon, specializing in the surgical treatment of disorders of the adult spine. He is a member of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. he is a member of the North American Spine Society and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Pedlow specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative conditions of the neck and back, minimally invasive spine surgery, athletic injuries to the spine, and spine care of the injured worker. He is a nationally recognized leader in the treatment of complex spinal disorders, including primary and metastatic tumors of the spine.
Dr. Pedlow received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery in the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program and served as Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at Emory University Spine Center in Atlanta, GA, and served as a Neurosurgery Fellow at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Pedlow has been named a 'Top Doctor' in Boston's Magazine's 'Best Doctors' issue and has consistently been named by Best Doctors, INC. One of the best Orthopedic spine surgeons in Boston. Dr. Pedlow has also been spine consultant for the Bsoton Bruins. He practices at Massachusetts General Hospital.
